Who is Alex Jeffery?

Alex Jeffery is a musician and songwriter from De Pere, WI. At ten years old he began teaching himself how to play guitar on a hand me down Fender Stratocaster. His love for music and words has followed him throughout his life and eventually convinced him to make the move to Nashville, TN in the summer of 2016. His ability to tell a story that captivates the listener is a special talent among the many other musicians that call "Music City" home. He has written and performed with many other hit artists and songwriters throughout his career. His debut single "Kitchen Table" won runner-up in the 2019 CMT songwriter contest and showcases his storytelling abilities of growing up with a great Midwest family values. "Learning to Say Goodbye" Behind the Songs

Learning to Say Goodbye is an album built on love, marriage, and heartbreak. The story starts out with a song called "Slot Machine" that I wrote with my good friend Craig Wilson, a certified bad ass if I've ever known one. We sat down one afternoon at a writing room off music row and both threw out several ideas until he said, "man, love is such a gamble." Both of our eyes lit up and that's when we started writing "Slot Machine"...
